Winter Wonderland in Tennessee

Well, I was snowed in for about 3 days, but I made the most of it. I did think to get some birdseed on my way home from Cookeville Friday. I decided if it was going to snow, I would bring the pictures to me.... and it worked. These beautiful birds showed up as planned. Even though the snow was pretty, I loved all the ice on the trees, so I took several pictures of that. Hope you enjoy!!!
Here is a pretty Red Bird. They covered the back yard. It was fun watching them.
He is all puffed up. I don't think he liked me hanging around so much.

Brandy and Ollie were having a great time in the snow. This picture cracks me up. Brandy is holding her head high and loving the snow!!

I have been informed this is a Tufted Titmouse bird. They are sooo cute and they love the dog food...
Here is a tree in the back yard. I think Putnam County, TN was covered in a sheet of ice.

I like this close up of the ice. I just really loved the way the ice was shine in the sunlight...but it made for not so great driving...

Winter Wonderland

Well, the snow is almost gone but I did get a few shots before it started melting away. Michael and I drove to a few places in Kentucky to get these. It was really pretty. Below is a shot of the road...I have to admit, I was a bit worried at times!! :-) It was well worth it. These pictures were processed with a software program I have discovered used to render HDR pictures. Some of these are not "true" HDR, however, it helped me to get familiar with the software and I love the results. Hope you enjoy!!

Griffith Family

Mrs. Naomi's children were all in for the holidays and she wanted some family pictures done at their home where they all grew up. This is one of the sweetest families. Everyone was great to work with on such a cold day!!
We had a to get a few shots by the creek where they use to play as kids. Couldn't pass up skipping rocks either...

"Omi" and her grandchildren.

Here is Laura and her creation.

Above is Mrs. Naomi and her beautiful kids.

I really enjoyed getting to meet Mrs. Naomi and her family. I look foward to working with them again..maybe it will be a little warmer and the kids won't be "freezing to death". They were so cute.
